Progressive Mortgages.
Development of Building Estates.
Your Sub-Committee report that Messrs A & J Mucklow (Callowbrook Farm Estate) and Messrs Bannons (Builders) Limited (Factory Farm Estate) are not proceeding with their schemes at present.
With regard to the advances to Mr D Dyas James as authorised by Minute No 6593 advances have been arranged in respect of forty houses at Sheldon already erected, and on the houses already erected at Rednal which are not in mortgage to Bradford Building Society, such advances to be on certificates of the Bank's Valuer and on terms agreed.
Meetings of Sub-Committee.
Your Committee are recommended to instruct that in view of the special circumstances arising out of the War the normal meetings of this Sub-Committee should be suspended; future meetings to be at the call of the Chairman; and that your Chairman with the Chairmen of the two Sub-Committees be authorised, con-jointly with the officials concerned, to deal with matters concerning House Purchase subject to the confirmation of the General Committee where necessary.
